The pendant is tiny but has real presence—that 18k gold plating catches the light beautifully against the recycled sterling silver. I've worn it through three beach trips and it hasn't tarnished or turned my skin green, which is more than I can say for other costume pieces.

The chain is so lightweight I forgot I had it on all day, and the tiny shell pendant sits perfectly at my collarbone. Feels sturdy for an 18k gold plated piece, and the recycled silver gives me peace of mind.

I've worn this every day since it arrived and the 18k gold plating hasn't tarnished at all, even through showers. The tiny 8.3mm shell pendant sits perfectly on the box chain, subtle enough for work but still catches the light nicely.
